D4 Spiral Sash Balances

  • Our spiral balances are sold in PAIRS. This is sufficient for ONE sash.
  • Supplied UNTENSIONED. You will need to fit, then tension the balances before use
  • Our D4 balances can be tensioned to hold a sash weighing between 15lb & 30lb (6.8kg & 13.6kg)
  • All of our sash balances come with an unrivalled 25 year no quibble replacement guarantee
  • Thoroughly tested to 20,000 cycles
  • Non-removable, white tube supplied as standard.
  • Clip on tube covers available in other colours
  • D4 balances require a 17mm x 17mm groove in the sash or stile to house them
  • Fitting and tensioning instructions available to download
  • Important: Spiral balances should be kept free of plaster or other building dust & debris as this may interfere with the smooth operation of the spring and spiral
  • We recommend you wipe the balances monthly with a clean, dry cloth and apply a few drops of light oil to the spiral rod every 3 months. This will help maintain the smooth operation of the balance
  • Balances may require periodic adjustment
  • Supplied with a tensioning key per order and all the fittings required for your timber sashes
