Our PVCu window Guide-catches are used on tilting sash windows to lock the sash in a vertical position. The product is rebated into the top of the sash top rails, one at either end,leaving the wedge ends projecting. Sliding the button retracts the wedge end allowing the sash to titl inward. On a PVCu window the unit is fitted into a rebate in the plastic top rail. Please check the unit fits your window profile. Guide catches traditionally use a decorative knob on the bottom sash and a standard anodised knob on the top sash as its hidden when the sash is closed.
