Our standard top hung friction hinges (stays) are designed and manufactured in the UK. They have precision geometry for a smooth, positive action.

  • 13mm stack
  • Range of lengths & loadings available (12″ Version shown)
  • Stainless steel
  • Reliable long life performance – downloadable leaflet below
  • Successfully tested as a critical component within PAS024 : 2016 (with Hingeguard sold separately)
  • Can be fitted to all types of casement window including PVCu, Aluminium and Timber.
  • The hinge meets the corrosion requirements of BS EN 1670 Grade 4 (240 hours) and the performance requirements of BS 6375-1:2009
  • Has been cycle tested in excess of 25,000 cycles of opening and tested to BS EN 13126-1:2006.
  • Sold in handed pairs
