Description
Brighton fasteners are a familiar feature of a sash window. The body of the fastener is fitted to one sash rail and the keep to the other. They operate by unscrewing the knurled nut on the end of the arm which allows the sprung lever arm to swing upwards exiting the keep. Re-engaging the lever arm and re-tightening the nut pulls the sashes together, helps with draughtproofing and secures the sashes. We also sell Mini versions which generally have a slimmer keep and are used where space on the meeting rail is narrow.
